Our Mission,

Dear fans of JYPE artists,

As international fans, people think we have no voice, no power. We can't boycott like the Korean fans or plaster ads in Korean newspapers, but we can still be heard.

It seems that Jaebeom may never come back and now Sunmi may suffer the same fate. How many more? It's time to stand together. It's time to start a movement.

1. Please unsubscribe to JYP and JYPE on YouTube. Unsubscribe from 2PM and WG as well, but the priority is all corportate JYP-related accounts.
2. Please unfollow JYP on Twitter. His twitter is the only one with enough people to make a statement. He had close to 40,000 followers. If we can trend topics as a point, that will be an added bonus to make more of an impact.

Remember you can always refollow them. This is simply a statement from us international fans to JYP/JYPE that we are here, we are relevant and we also matter.

We don't expect this to have Jaebeom and Sunmi miraculously reappear in their groups. We are only doing this to make a point. We just want JYP to know something - that we are here and our presence will be felt.

Our Cry to our Sisters
Dear International Wonderfuls,

We know you love JYP. We know that he's not the ultimate factor in the situation that is currently happening. We are asking you to unfollow him because his twitter and youtube accounts are the only outlets we, as international fans, have to tell JYPE anything.

Aren't you upset that Sunmi is leaving without a proper goodbye, that the fans never got anything except a press release on their website.? Aren't you upset that none of the other four girls who you have loved have come out to say anything about Sunmi's leave?

You, as International Wonderfuls, are the first fandom that has actual relevance, if any, to any Korean management company because the Wonder Girls are actively trying to break the US market. Let your voice be heard. Simply for a week. Let JYPE know that you are here. That you care.

Join us in the movement.

Why involve Wonderfuls?

Look at KWonderfuls right now. Are they sitting down and happy that Sunmi is leaving and being replaced? They aren't disagreeing with the fact that Sunmi wanted to leave. They are pissed that JYPE didn't even give them anything in return for three years of dedication. Sunmi didn't even have the chance to write a goodbye to her fans. They were given an English press release.

Emotionally, Wonderfuls have invested a lot in Sunmi, Sunye, Yoobin, Yeeun, and Sohee. They at least deserved a proper goodbye. As an international fan, maybe you think differently. I believe that as a fan, either international or Korean, you would want to be treated as a fan and not just another person who will buy their CD.

This is why we have called out for the Wonderfuls to join us. We believe you understand, based on the hurt that JYPE has given you, why we are for the movement.

Anon.

International Fandoms Unite

This is not just about Jaebeom, it's about us, the international fans. We are a force. They might not think we are, but we are. We don't just send presents to our idols and we don't just send letters because we feel like it. We are more than just letters and presents. Because we love them, we thank them for the joy and happiness they have brought into our lives, we should also protect them. JYPE, with Jaebeom's & Sunmi's, SM with DBSK's & SuJu's situation simply goes to show that idols are replaceable in the blink of an eye. Korean fans have an outlet, they can boycott, and send JYPE letters and scream chants at concerts but international fans are limited in what we can do and because we are limited, companies think we don't exist or that we are irrelevant.

Please, as international fans, just do this so that we can bring a statement that yes, we are here too.

The End is only the Beginning

To the MOVEMENT:

This is going to take more than one day. Remember don't lose hope that it's not working because some JYP stans are creating accounts to increase his followers. This is going to take the entire week. There are international fans who are not even awake at the moment. There are some who are on the fence and there are some who think we are mean and batshit crazy.

But you know what, if it works, we voiced out. If it doesn't work, at least we went down in a beautiful blaze of glory.

Tweeting as I write,

Please send letters to
110 East 31st St.
New York, NY 10016.

Please send constructive letters here for support for Jay's return.

In your letters, try to be as reasonable and rational as possible. Don't bother going to accuse JYPE about how bad they've screwed up this situation that's not going to work. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS THE KEY

Basically, just write about all the GOOD THINGs that Jay's return will bring.

In my letter, I wrote (amongst other things), that since JYP is very interested in the international market, he must know that the outcome of the Jaebum incident will forever leave an imprint in the international pop culture community. What JYPE decides in the end, can either cement an image of South Korea as a society where mob mentalities and internet bullying controls the society, or it can make an image for itself as a GLOBALLY minded business who tries to bring tolerance and forgiveness to a pop culture that is often rash and quick to dish out undeserved hazing. Basically, I mean that this is JYPE's chance to become a leader in South Korean entertainment companies, and to NOT succumb to an incident that was due to immature internet abuse. With the WG album coming out, I believe this is a point that will snap to JYPE's attention. Although they're not looking at the international market for 2PM specifically, if they want WG to really be able to make it in the US, they MUST care about their company image to Westerners, even if it is a little bit.

Another point I appealed in my letter is that JYPE's ultimate decision will decide whether or not they'll develop a loyal fan base for the group or if they'll just rely on an ever-changing fan base, which may be big enough for the next couple of releases, but in a few years, there IS going to be the NEXT big thing that'll come along. (that's just how entertainment is) And it won't necessarily be from JYPE. Every long-lasting idol group manages to survive due to a solid fan base that's followed through the good and the bad. If 2PM doesn't develop that type of fan base, the longevity of the group is put in jeopardy, which also will translate to less success once they really try to send each of the members solo. This is why they need to reunite the 7 members so that all of the old fans who followed from when they wore really hideous outfits in 10/10 (Taec's newspaper hood? Jay's one weird fringey outfit?) and still loved them for it.

Basically, I'm down to my last resort. Like I've always thought, threatening and cursing JYPE was never going to bring us Jaebum back. We need to throw 10,001 reasons of why bringing Jaebum back is going to benefit JYPE, because right now, we obviously haven't done a good enough job of showing them that Jay is more valuable than he seems.

Please PLEASE just try to send in a letter. It doesnt have to be long, it doesn't have to be exquisitely eloquent, but please show your support for Jay. Please stand up for Jay against JYPE. This may be your last chance to do so.

For me, I know that this all might not make a difference, but I'm writing a letter because no matter what the outcome, I can say that I stood up for him until the very end. And hopefully Jay will know his fans stood up for him all the way and find some consolation in that to help him through the obstacles ahead if it comes to that."

If you have a twitter, unfollow JYP ( http://www.twitter.com/followjyp ) and start trending #unsubscribejyp (twitter doesn't allow "unfollow____" to trend). If you have a Youtube account, unsubscribe from JYP.

This is not just about Jaebeom or Sunmi--this is about being heard as international fans. We're trying to make a statement. We are tired of being ignored and of being lied to. We have a voice too.

EDIT: If you're against this whole thing and you want to leave a comment saying so, that's fine. I'm deleting spam though.
